Maybe the esteemed Mr. James should stick to his number crunching day-job at the Boston Red Sox if he doesn’t know that the proper spelling is “y’all”.

Bill James’ article in the Hardball Times does not really come down on one side or the other of the issue of steroid use in sports. What it does comes down on is the press and it’s dimwitted lynch mob mentality around the issue.

I’d have been thrilled to read this particular man’s take on steroids in baseball, but instead he’s too busy poking fun at other writers to write “An Asterisk is Born”.
